Welcome to the Omicron Psi Chapter Website at University of Southern Indiana.

The USI Nursing Honor Society was approved for chartering as a chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing in December 1997 at the Biennial Convention held in Indianapolis.
The charter was formally presented at a ceremony held May 14, 1998 in Carter Hall on the USI campus.

  • Omicron Psi Chapter April 22, 2024 Educational Chapter Meeting Event

    Please join the Omicron Psi Chapter for our April 2024 Monthly Meeting that will provide education for our Professional Nurse Members. 

    The educational meeting will be Monday, April 22, 2024 from 4:30pm-6:30pm at the USI Health Professions Building, Room 3122 & 3123.  Zoom Conferencing will be offered. 

    The presentation is "Question, Persuade, and Refer"  How to Ask the Question Promoting Suicide Awareness.

    The professional speaker is Sam Preston, Interim Director Public Safety at USI.
